Before you start
The Donuts Switch V3 is a dual chamber disposable, so a few things behave differently from a single-tank device. Locate three parts before doing anything else: the mouthpiece, the chamber selector, and the charging port. If your version has a display, note where it sits so you can watch it during activation.
Step 1 – Check the selector position
Make sure the selector is sitting clearly toward one side rather than resting between positions. A selector that has not fully reached either side makes it hard to tell which chamber is live. If it feels unusually resistant, stop – inspect the body for damage or misalignment rather than forcing it.
Step 2 – Activate the device
Most units in this format are draw-activated. Take a slow, steady draw and check the indicator or display for a response. If nothing happens, re-check the selector before assuming the battery is flat.
Step 3 – Switch chambers
Move the selector to the opposite side to change which chamber feeds the coil. Do this between draws rather than mid-draw, and give the coil a moment to settle before pulling again. This is also how you blend the two flavours – draw, switch, draw again.
Step 4 – Charging
Charge through the Type-C port with a cable and adapter rated for the device. Avoid fast chargers that exceed the recommended output, and do not leave the unit unattended while charging. A full charge on this format typically takes around an hour.
Troubleshooting
- No vapour: check the selector position first, then the charge level
- Weak hits: confirm the battery is charged and the oil intake is not blocked
- Flavour tastes mixed: expected behaviour – both chambers sit in one body
- Selector stiff: stop, do not force it, and inspect for damage
